    Get PDF
Antennas that available in the industry have designed for one purpose application with narrow band which makes the system functions with more than one antenna with a narrow band. Additionally, most existing wideband antennas are not flexible since it uses traditionally rigid material that make them uncomfortable to the user. Therefore, a new technology becomes necessary by designing wideband textile antenna with flexible substrates and cost efficiency. The substrate of the designed antennas is made from denim textile material with size of 45x70 mm, while radiating element and partial ground plane are made from copper tape with circular patch radius of 20.9 mm and feed line of 2.9x20.3 mm. The partial ground has a size of 40x19.65 mm in the lower part of the antenna. The patch has two feed slots with size of 2.80x2.99 mm and in the middle of the circular the is square diamond with size of 8.90 mm and upper square diamond with of 5.49 mm. The design is used both CST and validated by HFSS. The operating frequency of the design is from 2 to 4 GHz with reflection coefficient of - 29.346 dB. It has a gain of 2.378 dB at 2.45 GHz and 3.453 dB at 3.5 GHz. Validated results are compared with CST simulations and acceptable agreement was observed. Furthermore, in this project was analyzed the bending effect of the antenna with radius from 10 to 125 mm and its SAR. The SAR value of the antenna was tested, based on flat and bended antenna to show the radiation effect on the human body phantom, in the case of flat antenna the SAR value is 1.255 W/kg at 2.45 GHz and 1.302 W/kg at 3.5 GHz. Nevertheless, the bended SAR value shows 1.68 at 2.45 GHz and 1.88 W/kg at 3.5 GHz. The SAR values of both antennas are safe according to the International Commission on Non-Ionizing Radiation Protection (ICNIRP, European standard). The safe level for the standard is 2 W/kg for any 10 grams of tissue

The present thesis deals with the projected Arab Court of Justice (ACJ) as a regional court, expected to be created within the League of Arab States system. Chapter one deals mainly with the basic structure of the League of Arab States itself, its membership, its organs, the settlement of disputes, and the reasons that are delaying the creation of the ACJ and the role it will be expected to play in settling inter-Arab disputes. In the second chapter comprehensive information on the function of the judicial power in Islamic Shariah is presented, including the status of judges in Islam, their appointment, qualifications, independence and other issues related to them. Chapter three concentrates on the organisation of the projected ACJ, comparing its draft Statute with the Statute of the International Court of Justice (ICJ) and other regional international courts. The chapter will also show how far the Arab draftsmen have been influenced by principles and rules of Islamic Shariah, especially in matters relating to the qualification of judges. Furthermore, the chapter will discuss other points related to the organisation of the bench such as nomination of candidates, system of election, constituting chambers, appointing ad hoc judges etc. The fourth chapter explains in detail at the level of theory as well as of practice the role of Islamic Shariah as a source to be applied by the projected ACJ. The chapter points to the need to discuss the origins and fundamental conceptions of Islamic Shariah as a law capable to be applied by the projected ACJ. Chapter five continues with a discussion of the jurisdiction of the ACJ, and makes detailed reference to the concepts of jurisdiction ratione personae, ratione materiae and the function of the ACJ to give advisory opinions. The thesis considers whether the Arab drafters have developed the above terms or have simply adopted them as they exist in the Statute of the International Court of Justice. The conclusions summarise the findings of the Thesis, and are accompanied by some critical remarks

In this study, the neat epoxy and nanocomposites with volume fraction (1, 3, 5, 7 and10%) of nano SiO2 particles reinforced with six layers of chopped mat E-glass fibers (CM) specimens were prepared by molding method. The results of Impact strengths of EP/SiO2 nanocomposites reinforced with 6 layers of CM E-glass fibers showed that Impact strength has a random behaviour with increasing volume fraction of SiO2 nanoparticles. The results showed an increase of Impact strengths with increasing the SiO2  nanoparticles volume fraction at 1% vol. of SiO2 nanoparticles, then decreases with increasing volume fraction at 3% vol. of SiO2 nanoparticles, then the Impact strength increases with increasing volume fraction of SiO2 nanoparticles until the Impact strength reach to maximum values  (78.93KJ/m2) at 7% vol. of SiO2 nanoparticles. And then Impact strength decreases with increasing volume fraction at 10% vol. of SiO2 nanoparticles. Also the results of shore D hardness of EP/SiO2 nanocomposites reinforced with 6 layers of CM E-glass fibers showed that Hardness No. an increase with increasing the SiO2 nanoparticles volume fraction at 1% vol. of SiO2 nanoparticles, then decreases with increasing volume fraction at 3% vol. of SiO2 nanoparticles, then the Hardness No. increases with increasing volume fraction of SiO2 nanoparticles until the Hardness No. reach to maximum values  (85.03) at 10% vol. of SiO2 nanoparticles

In the last decade, significant advances have been made in Glioblastoma Multiforme treatment with the novel use of alternating electrical fields, also termed as tumour treating fields (TTFs). This modality has shown promising results in recurrent and newly diagnosed GBM patients, and according to some, may soon be considered an addition to the previously known \u27trifecta\u27 of GBM standard of care, i.e., surgery, chemo and radiation therapy. Here we review the existing data on TTF for both recurrent and newly diagnosed GBM. This review does not discuss the limitations of TTF, especially from compliance and cost point of view

Information security is a huge trending topic in recent year. Many technique and algorithm were designed and developed toachieve the security of information and/or network across the world. Cryptography is one of the most common tools to provide suchsecurity. Nevertheless, steganography also provide a good security by hiding data within a media in a way that an attacker can't sensethe presence of the secret data. Compression don't normally imply any security , however , it messes up the original encoding of the dataand reduces its size by a measureable amount which makes it perfect for hiding .In this paper a system was proposed where a secretimage is compressed before encryption and hiding. JPEG algorithm was used for the compressing, while at the encryption stage RC4algorithm was used due to its fast processing speed. LSB (Least Significant Bit) technique then applied to hide the secret data within thecover image

Intramedullary cavernomas are rare lesions constituting 5 to 12% of all intramedullary tumours. They are more recognized after introduction of magnetic resonance imaging and detection rates have improved by advance techniques. They may be solitary or multiple or may have associated cranial lesions. They may present with gradual neurological decline or with acute loss of spinal function. In addition neurological deficit depends on the location of the lesion within the spinal cord. We are reporting the case of a 45 year old male who presented with neck pain and progressive right arm weakness with numbness. MRI cervical spine with contrast showed intramedullary lesion with peripheral T2 hypointense rim and extralesional haemorrhage consistent with cavernoma. Patient underwent successful surgery and his symptoms markedly improved with mild residual grip weakness in right hand
